Choosing Norgips systems will make your job easier and save you time

Plasterboard is a building material with a very wide range of applications.

They are ideal for partition walls, curtain walls, suspended ceilings, ceiling cladding, dry screed or attic lining. It is a solution that facilitates the smooth implementation of even demanding projects, and not much experience is needed at all to achieve the desired effect.

Saving time

There is no doubt that the use of plasterboard significantly reduces construction time.

Drywall lining construction, as the name suggests, is carried out without the use of water. This is a very important advantage, as we do not have to wait for weeks for the plaster to dry and can start further finishing work straight away.

Another advantage of plasterboard is the lightness of the material. In comparison, a wall made of gypsum blocks is three times heavier, while a wall made of silicate blocks is up to five times heavier. Lightweight plasterboards can therefore be carried without putting undue strain on the spine.

Forget about disruptive renovations

Refurbishment is usually associated with a long process that makes life miserable for householders. Plasterboard helps to disenchant this stereotype.

Using Norgips ready systems does not require moving out for the duration of the building work, even when installing a floor - so-called dry screed. Plasterboard and an underlay of polystyrene, mineral wool, perlite or expanded clay is sufficient. The very next day you can walk on the freshly laid dry screed and immediately start laying flooring (parquet, laminate, terracotta), which is unrealistic with a screed.

Freedom to create custom designs

Plasterboard makes it possible to fulfil the dream of perfectly smooth walls on which the most varied paint colours and wallpapers look perfect.

Using 6.5 mm plasterboard, we will create suspended ceilings, curves and arches. Thanks to its test-proven durability, we can attach cabinets, shelves and other items envisaged in the design to the walls without fear. You can find more information on the rules for loading plasterboard here.

Drywall lining also allows for the efficient construction of high walls - up to 11 metres. With traditional technologies, this is complicated and labour-intensive. What's more, with off-the-shelf systems we can almost freely shape wall parameters such as fire resistance, thickness or sound insulation. Simply match the right solution to the function.
