Description

Vertical profile (stud) made of zinc-coated 0.6 mm sheet metal. Available in three width sizes: 50, 75 or 100 mm. In addition, it has a polyester paint coating ensuring an increased protection of the profiles against corrosion. As a result of tests performed at the Institute of Construction Technology, the Norgips SUPER profiles were rated to corrosivity category C3.

As a consequence, the profiles Norgips SUPER can be used in rooms with high air humidity, such as bathrooms, saunas, pools, as well as in industrial buildings, such as food processing plants, laundries, breweries, dairies.

Application:

Designed for the construction of partition walls or curtain walls. In combination with UW horizontal profiles, it forms a structure for NORGIPS dry lining systems, i.e. partition walls, curtain walls.

Suitable for executing linings in rooms with increased humidity, such as bathrooms, saunas, pools, etc. The profiles made of sheet metal with a thickness of 0.6 mm are designated for use in systems with a declared fire resistance rating up to REI 180 and increased
sound insulation requirements, e.g. for room soundproofing.

NOTES FOR GUIDANCE

Use the profiles in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and design guidelines. For all other uses, consult the design engineer. The profiles are suitable for outdoor use, in environment category C3.
