Terms and conditions of the "Viking Adventure Comic" competition

RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE COMPETITION
entitled. "Viking Adventure Comic".


1. Competition organiser. Statements.


1) The organiser of this competition entitled: "Viking Adventure Comics" (hereafter: "Competition") is NORGIPS Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw at ul. Krakowiaków 50, 02-255 Warsaw, registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register, maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw. Warsaw, XIII Economic Division of the National Court Register, under KRS No. 0000529680, NIP 5222702366, (hereinafter: "Organiser"). The competition will be conducted under the terms and conditions set out in these regulations (hereinafter: "Norgips") and is organised on the social networking site Facebook - accessible on the Internet at URL: https://www.facebook.com/norgips (hereinafter: "Contest Page").
2) The Facebook Page is operated under the Terms of Service of the "Facebook Page" service (URL: https://www.facebook.com/page_guidelines.php).
3) The Organizer informs that the Contest is not in any way or to any extent sponsored, endorsed, conducted, administered or associated with Facebook available on the Internet computer network at URL: http://www.facebook.com (hereinafter: "Facebook") or associated with it. In the event that, under Polish law, Facebook is responsible for violations of these Rules in a manner that cannot be excluded by the provisions of these Rules, participants should address their claims to the Organiser, as the entity guaranteeing the correctness of the Competition.


2. Place of the Competition.
The Competition will be held on the social network Facebook (hereinafter: "Service"), on the Organiser's account dedicated to the NORGIPS brand at: https://www.facebook.com/NORGIPS/


3. Duration of the Competition.
The Competition will be held from 01.06.2025 at 9:00 a.m. to 12.06.2025 at 11:59 p.m. and the results will be announced by 18.06.2025 at 4:00 p.m.

4. Subject of the Competition.
The subject of the Competition is to select, from among the Works posted as part of the Competition, those which - according to the assessment of the members of the Competition Committee referred to in point. 8 of the Regulations - will relate most closely to the adventures of the Vikings and have the word "NORGIPS" prominently displayed on each side. The artwork should be posted in a comment under the competition post. The authors of the above-mentioned works will be awarded the prizes indicated below under point. 10(1) of the Rules and Regulations.
The competition task is for a parent and child under 17 to draw together a hand-drawn comic strip of up to two A4 pages featuring a Viking. The comic strip must contain plot, dialogue and relate to the adventures of the Vikings ("Competition Entry").
The Competition Entry must include the prominent inscription "NORGIPS" on each page filled with illustrations. The competition entry must be posted in a comment under the competition post. The photo must be clear and legible.
As a bonus, one Facebook user will be invited to the competition and will share the competition post on his/her Facebook profile.
The authors of the above-mentioned entries will be rewarded with the prizes indicated below in point. 10(1) of the Rules of Procedure.


5. Purpose of the Contest.
The Contest is run to build brand awareness and good relations with the NORGIPS website followers.


6. Conditions of participation in the Contest
1) Only natural persons with full legal capacity - acting as guardians - together with their children aged up to 17 years old, registered in accordance with the regulations of the Website as users of the Website, who meet the conditions set out in these Regulations, may participate in the Contest.
2) Employees and persons related to employees of the Organizer may not participate in the Contest.
3) In order to participate in the Contest and obtain the status of a Contest participant (hereinafter: "Participant") is to do the following (hereinafter: "Competition Entry"):
a) posting within the Service, in the space indicated in point. 7 pp. 1) the Regulations, the Competition Work referred to in point. 7 of the Regulations, in accordance with the rules specified in the Competition Rules and in accordance with the rules of the Website;
b) providing the Organizer with his/her name, surname, telephone number, address and e-mail address, through the communicator of the Website (Messenger).
4) Participation in the Competition is voluntary and free of charge.
5) The Participant - in the meaning of §6 point 1) of the Regulations - accepting the Competition Rules, states at the same time that:
- by placing the Competition Work, referred to in point. 7 of the Regulations, in a comment under the competition post referred to in point. 7 of the Competition Rules, he/she enters the Competition;

- he/she owns the copyrights to the Competition Work submitted in the Competition, referred to in point. 7 of the Regulations,- the uploading and publication of the Contest Work does not violate the rights and personal rights of third parties;
- agrees to the publication of the Facebook ID in the posts on the Contest Site informing about the results of the Contest,
- the Entrant's personal data was provided voluntarily.


7. Competition rules.
1) The competition task is for a parent and child under 17 to draw together a hand-drawn comic strip of up to two A4 pages featuring a Viking. The comic must contain a plot, dialogue and relate to the adventures of the Vikings. The work must have the words 'NORGIPS' prominently displayed on each page filled with the illustration. The competition entry must be posted in a comment under the competition post. The photo must be clear and legible.
An additional advantage will be the invitation of one Facebook user to the Contest and sharing the Contest post on his/her Facebook profile.
2) Each Entrant may submit any number of Contest Works, and only one award may be granted to a single Entrant.
3) The publication of the Competition Work is tantamount to a statement that the Entrant is the sole author of the Competition Work and/or that the Entrant is entitled to (as a whole) unlimited personal and material copyright and neighbouring rights to it, and that the Competition Work does not infringe any third-party copyrights, is free of any unauthorised borrowings, and that there are no other circumstances that could make the Organiser liable towards third parties as a result of the use of the Competition Work in the fields of exploitation listed in point 5) below. By publishing the Competition Work, each Entrant also agrees and declares that the Competition Work will be posted on the Internet without time and territorial restrictions in the scope of the Competition.
4) The Entrants also agree and declare that they agree and declare that they consent to the posting of the submitted Competition Works on Facebook without time and territorial restrictions in the scope of the Competition.
5) By publishing the Competition Work, the Entrant agrees and declares that in the event of receiving the Prize in exchange for the Prize obtained, he/she transfers to the Organiser, without time and territorial restrictions, all copyrights to the Competition Work. The transfer of copyrights takes place in the following fields of exploitation: multiplication and recording by any technique of copies of the Competition answer, including in particular printing, reprography, magnetic recording, audio-visual technique, digital technique, lending and marketing, both the original and copies, dissemination, particularly in the Internet computer network, by means of entering into computer memory, regardless of the number of broadcasts, emissions, copies produced, public performance, exhibition, display, reproduction, as well as broadcasting, re-broadcasting, using the Competition answer in various forms of publishing and multimedia, including advertising and promotion on television, on paper, magnetic, optical and film carriers, making the Competition answer available to the public in such a way that everyone can have access to it in a time and place chosen by them. The above will be confirmed in a written statement by the Prize Winner signed at the Prize acceptance activity. The Entrant also agrees that the Organiser may transfer these rights to the Competition Answer, in whole or in part, to any third party at any time and to use the Competition Answer to create derivative works (modifications and transformations). The Organiser acquires these rights when the Prize is issued to the Laureate pursuant to Article 921 § 3 of the Civil Code. The Entrant is not entitled to remuneration for the use by any entity of the Competition Answer in any separate field of exploitation.
6) The Organiser, subject to provisions of item 7 below, expressly reserves the right to delete the Contest Work or to disable access to the Contest Work (in accordance with the relevant functionalities made available by Facebook), as appropriate:
(a) in the event of receiving an official notification or obtaining reliable knowledge of its unlawful nature;
(b) in the event of receiving an official notification or obtaining knowledge or obtaining reasonable doubt that it contains racist content, content insulting another Participant, vulgar, pornographic or indecent content, advertising content, content insulting a particular religion or culture, content detrimental to the image
of the Organiser, the entity indicated in para. 1 subsection 1) of these Rules, the Controller or other entities associated with them, or in any other way contrary to the principles or norms of social coexistence;
c) for justified reasons of security, if it results from generally applicable laws.
7) The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from the Contest Entrants whose actions are contrary to the law or these Rules and Facebook regulations, in particular Entrants who:
a) take actions using an account/profile created in violation of Facebook rules;
b) take actions using a third-party account/profile;
c) create fictitious Facebook accounts/profiles in order to avoid age verification;
d) do not meet any of the participation requirements indicated in the Rules.


8. Competition Committee.
1) Entries submitted to the Competition are evaluated by the Competition Committee (hereinafter: "Competition Committee"), consisting of 3 members who are employees of the Organiser. The work of the Competition Committee is directed by the Chairperson of the Competition Committee;
2) The Competition Committee will evaluate the submitted Competition Responses no later than 2 days after the end of the Competition and will thus select the winners of the Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition Committee"): "Winners").


9. Rules for selecting the Winners.
1) The Selection Committee - in the Contest - shall select 3 (three) Winners, whose Contest Works - in the opinion of the Selection Committee - are in accordance with the Contest Task. The selected Winners will be assigned places from the first to the third.
2) The Selection Committee has full freedom in decision-making, and in particular may adopt criteria for the selection of the Competition Work based on subjective assessments.
3) The decisions of the Selection Committee are final and are not subject to change.
4) The results of the Selection Committee's work (selection of Winners) will be announced in accordance with the content of point. 11 of the Regulations.

10. Prizes in the Competition.
1) The prizes in the Competition are:

  • Winners who, in the opinion of the Competition Committee, deserved 1st place will receive a Prize in the form of a scooter to the value of 405.00 PLN gross,
  • Winners who, in the opinion of the Competition Committee, deserved 2nd place will receive a Prize in the form of roller skates worth 240.00 PLN gross,
  • Winners who, in the opinion of the Competition Committee, deserved 3rd place will receive a Prize in the form of a Lego gift card worth PLN 150.00 gross.

2) Each Entrant may be entitled to a maximum of one Prize in the Competition.
3) Prizes are not exchangeable.


11. Announcement of the results of the Competition.
The announcement of the results will take place within 6 days of the end of the Competition. The Organiser will announce the Winners each time in a separate post on the Contest Site and in a comment under the Contest post.


12. Exercise of the right to the Award. Release of the Prizes.
1) In order to exercise the right to the Prize, the Winner will have to provide the Organiser with the details enabling the Organiser to hand over the Prize in the manner specified in paragraph 3) below, i.e.: first and last name, address - to which the Prize will be sent - and telephone number, as well as sign a statement of acceptance of the Prize.
2) The transfer of the Prizes in the Contest shall take place within 14 working days from the date of announcement of the Contest results.
3) The Prizes shall be sent by the Organizer to the address provided by the Winner, by courier service, at the Organizer's expense, and the transfer shall be confirmed by the Winner's signature on the waybill.

13. Personal data protection
a) In order to carry out the Contest in accordance with the rules specified in these Rules, the Organizer processes the personal data of the Participants.
b) The controller of the personal data is the Organizer in the person of NORGIPS Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in /02-255/ Warsaw, ul. Krakowiaków 50.
The processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as GDPR, and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (consolidated text(OJ U. of 2019, item 1781, as amended).
c) The personal data controller, when processing personal data or entrusting its processing, shall take every care to ensure respect for the privacy of the Contest Participants.
d) The personal data controller shall process the following categories of data of the Contest Participants: name, surname, mailing address, contact telephone number, a-mail address and pseudonym, if used on the Participant's profile on Facebook - these data are provided in the application form.
e) Participants' personal data is collected and processed for the purposes of the Competition under the terms of these Regulations.
f) Participants' personal data will be processed for the purpose of possible investigation and defence of claims related to their participation in the Competition on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
g) Participants who provide personal data have the right to access the content of their data and, subject to the law, have the right to:

  • rectification of data,
  • erasure of data
  • restriction of data processing
  • data portability
  • object,
  • withdraw consent at any time.

h) Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data if they consider that their data is being processed unlawfully.
i) Participants may contact the Controller with any queries or doubts regarding the processing of their personal data at the following email address: [email protected]
j) Making the Participants' personal data available to the Organiser is voluntary, although it is necessary in order to participate in the Competition.
k) The Organiser applies technical and organisational measures aimed at ensuring that the personal data collected are properly secured, appropriate to the risks and categories of data protected. The Organiser has implemented appropriate measures to ensure a degree of security appropriate to the risk, taking into account the state of the art, the cost of implementation and the nature, scope, purpose and context of the processing and the risk of violation of the rights and freedoms of natural persons of varying probability and severity. The organiser shall take particular account of the risks involved in the processing of data arising from:

  • accidental or unlawful destruction,
  • loss, modification, unauthorised disclosure of data,
  • unauthorised access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

l) The Organiser declares that Participants' data will not be subject to profiling.


14. Provision of services by electronic means.
Due to the fact that the Competition is carried out using electronic technologies, the rules for the provision of services by electronic means are governed by the rules of the social network Facebook, through which the Competition is carried out.


15. Complaints.
All complaints concerning the course of the Competition, in particular the awarding of Prizes, should be submitted to the Organiser's address in writing within 14 days from the date of the end of the Competition. The date of lodging a complaint shall be the date on which it reaches the Organiser's address. The complaint should contain the name and address of the complainant along with a detailed description indicating the reason for the complaint. The Organiser will consider the complaint within 21 (in words: twenty-one) days of receiving the complaint and will inform the applicant in writing of its position.


16. Final provisions.
1) The Regulations come into force on 01.06.2025
2) The Regulations are available at the Organiser's office and on the website www.NORGIPS.pl . The above provisions shall apply mutatis mutandis to amendments to the Rules of Procedure.
