Fire-resistant plasterboard, impregnated
This fire-resistant plasterboard features tapered, cardboard-laminated longitudinal edges and square transverse edges. The plasterboard gypsum core features an increased density and is glass fibre-reinforced. A hydrophobic agent (paraffin or silicone) is added to the gypsum core of the plasterboard.
Colour - green-coloured cardboard with designations in red.
Plasterboard for indoor construction purposes. Designated for interior lining of any kind and for use as a part of dry lining systems applied in rooms with increased humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens. The relative humidity in such rooms may exceed 70%, but not for longer than 10 hours a day and it must not exceed 85%. The maximum application temperature is 50°C.
The plasterboard is intended for sheathing of partition or curtain walls, wall linings, panelling of suspended ceilings and lining of attics, with the objective to obtain fire-rated partitions (max. up to EI 180).
Fire-resistant. The gypsum core contains a glass fibrereinforcement that increases its cohesiveness properties when
exposed to high temperatures.
Impregnated. Due to waterproofing, the plasterboard features reduced water absorption properties.
Edge S. Tapered longitudinal edges make finishing of the panel joints easier. Due to an appropriate moulding and the use of joint compounds belonging to the Norgips system as well as joint tapes for joint finishing, a joint with a maximum strength can be obtained.

NOTES FOR GUIDANCE
Use the NORGIPS plasterboards in accordance with the NORGIPS system recommendations. Storage: store the boards on a flat surface, preferably on a pallet. Keep dry. Plasterboard transport on the construction site: keep the butt edge in vertical position when carrying.
